ISRI Millberry Copper Wire Scrap Specifications
The official Institute of Scrap Recycling Industries (ISRI) chemical and physical standards for clean copper wire scrap.
ISRI Code: Millberry (No. 1 Bare Bright Copper Wire)
Shall consist of clean, untinned, unalloyed, uncoated copper wire and cable, not smaller than No. 16 B&S wire gauge (1.29mm diameter). Free of burnt wire which is brittle, and free of tinned wire, lead/solder residue, or insulation.
